(dedicated to vocal expert Dean Frenkel and his companions)

ancient Mongolian throat singing,
and western cello, and woodwinds uniting,
form expansive soundscapes webbing the air.
sounds stroll the space,
spilling textures and colours
into a collage
of blending cultures.

I hear you sing the union of difference–
I feel you honour
the nameless of being.

voice and instruments embroider acceptance,
respecting all gifts of humanity.

music of the earth transcending borders,
flowing like a river of fertile blessing.
